  1. Enroll in a course<\/strong>. As mentioned earlier, you can study an English course or vocational training. To apply for the visa, you must have already enrolled in a course and present the CoE (Confirmation of Enrollment) provided by the school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Be of legal age<\/strong>. You must be over 18 for us to help you apply for your student visa. If you are not yet of legal age, don’t worry! You can start gathering all the information to travel once you turn 18.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Have health insurance<\/strong>. You will need to get health insurance (OSHC, Overseas Student Health Cover) that covers your entire stay in Australia, from the day you arrive until the day you leave. We will help you get it quickly and easily.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Have a passport with at least 6 months of validity<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Pay the visa fee<\/strong>. The cost depends on the type of course you are studying: AUD 2,050<\/strong> for independent ELICOS (English) or Non-Award courses. AUD 2,500<\/strong> for VET, Higher Education and most other Student Visa applications. If you combine English + VET<\/strong> under the same Student Visa application, the standard AUD 2,500<\/strong> fee applies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    How long does the student visa take?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    With a Student Visa in Australia, you can work up to 48 hours every two weeks (24 hours per week) while your course is in session<\/strong>. During scheduled school holidays, there is no limit on the number of hours you can work<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      How long can I stay in Australia?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      This depends on the duration of your course:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • If your course lasts less than 10 months: you can obtain a visa to stay 1 month beyond the duration of your course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • If your course lasts 10 months or more and ends between January and October: you can stay in Australia for 2 months after your course ends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • If your course lasts 10 months or more and ends between November and December: you can get a visa valid until March 15 of the following year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Work & Holiday Visa in Australia<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Another option to travel to Australia is the Work & Holiday Visa (subclass 462), which allows you to travel throughout Australia for 1 year and work at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        However, keep in mind that you cannot work for the same employer for more than 6 months. You can also study for a maximum of 4 months!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        What requirements must I meet to apply for the Work & Holiday visa?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        The first thing to consider is that not all nationalities are eligible for this visa. You will need a valid passport from one of the following countries: Argentina, Spain, Chile, Ecuador, China, Peru, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, the USA, Vietnam, or Austria. To apply for your visa, you must also consider the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Age<\/strong>: You must be between 18 and 30 years old when applying for the visa. If you are 30 when applying but 31 when traveling, no worries! You will still be able to enter the country with your approved visa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Not having previously entered Australia with a Work & Holiday visa (subclass 462) or a Working Holiday visa (subclass 417)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. You must apply from outside Australia<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        4. Have an English certificate showing at least a B2 level<\/strong>, by taking an official English test such as PTE, IELTS, TOEFL<\/strong>, among others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. Financial solvency<\/strong>: You\u2019ll usually need to show that you have AUD 5,000 available to support yourself during your stay, plus enough money to buy a ticket to leave Australia at the end of your stay. You don\u2019t need to have the return flight already booked, but you do need to show that you have enough funds to purchase it. As a guide, if you allow around AUD 2,000 for the return flight, this means having around AUD 7,000 in total available<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. Educational background<\/strong>: You must meet a minimum education level, which varies depending on your nationality. Check it out here!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Besides these general requirements, depending on your country of origin, you may be asked for additional documents, like a support letter if you’re from Ecuador or Peru or medical test results.           How much does the Work & Holiday visa cost?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

          The first Work and Holiday Visa (subclass 462)<\/strong> costs AUD 840<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          If you apply for a second or third Work and Holiday Visa<\/strong>, the application fee is AUD 1,000<\/strong> for each one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          When should I apply?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

          From July 1 of each year, you can apply for your visa, as this is when new spots open (if the previous ones haven\u2019t been filled, you may apply before this date).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Keep in mind that the government grants a limited number of visas, and this varies by country. For example, Argentina, Chile, and Spain are offered 3,400 spots; Peru is offered 1,500; Ecuador is offered 100 spots, and Uruguay is offered 1500 spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Tourist Visa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          If you are thinking of spending a few months in Australia to explore the country, you are likely considering a tourist visa. There are many options! We\u2019ll tell you about some of them so you can choose the one that best suits your plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Keep in mind that with these visas, you cannot work during your stay. However, they do allow you to study a course that lasts less than 3 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Visitor Visa (subclass 600)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

          Conditions of the Visitor Visa (subclass 600):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Generally, it allows you to stay in Australia for 3 months, although you can request a stay of up to 12 months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • The Visitor Visa (subclass 600)<\/strong> costs AUD 250<\/strong> when applying from outside Australia. If you apply from within Australia, the fee is AUD 630<\/strong> for the Tourist stream.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • The government may ask for health checks, biometric exams, or police certificates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Application time: It can take between 15 and 90 days for approval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Evisitor Visa (subclass 651)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

              • Temporary Skill Shortage Visa<\/strong>: Commonly known as a Sponsor Visa, it requires an Australian company to prove that they want to hire you over an Australian citizen. Though difficult, it\u2019s not impossible!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
